It took LunaMoonlight100 on FF.Net putting a boot up my ass to say it, but yes, I WILL be continuing Helping Hoof. Fact of the matter is I can't at the moment; I've lost my job and... Well, if that's happened to you then you know that's stress enough, but suffice it to say it's not the only thing hanging over me right now. My life has been in pretty amazing amounts of flux this year, so hopefully I can find steady employment soon, and settle down so I can do the things I enjoy.

(As soon as I finished writing this it occured to me it would have been stupid to put the most important thing at the end when everyone will have given up on muddling through my nonsensical ramblings. So here it is: I need a Beta Reader! Normally there are two gentlemen that I know I could send a story to, and expect a prompt and well thought-out response from, however neither of them are particularly interested in My Little Pony and I wouldn't want to force them to read something they wouldn't enjoy. I suppose that from now on, I'm going to have to start censroing my journal entries when I pull them from my proper journal, if I'm going to keep any sort of suspense and mystery about my stories. It won't do to leave a cliffhangerm only to debate what choice I'm going to make in a corresponding journal. Although, that is easier said than done, considering that if I'm going to write something it's essentially the background music of my brain, and it shows in my aimless literary ramblings. After brainstorming ideas for a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic crossover story with Spyro the dragon (who I would still dearly love to see artfully presented in pony form) for a couple of days, I did what I should have done from the start, and plastered the ramblings of my mind down on paper to make sense of them. I wound up with the following note to myself:

After hours upon hours of brain-crushing indecision, I've finally come to terms with my inner brony and realised that a My Little Pony fic is the way to go. Whew, that's a load off. But the choices now! Which way to take it! I'm thinking Crossover, but with whom? So many have been done already! I suppose that is the blessing of the brony-dom, everything is still so new you can be the first person to do something.
